Passkey Login offers an alternative way for existing members to access their accounts without entering a password. Depending on the member’s device and browser, authentication may use Face ID, a fingerprint, a device PIN, or a compatible security key. The app supports passkey enrollment and authentication, along with passkey management through an account experience. Members with an enrolled passkey may be able to sign in using the Passkey Login Button, while the Passkey Settings widget provides options for managing enrolled passkeys. An embedded Passkey Script supports the authentication and account-management experience. Site owners can configure parts of the passkey experience in the Passkey Login dashboard, including the display name, enrollment messaging, and login popup. The app is designed to work with existing member accounts and complement the site’s registration process. Availability depends on browser, device, and site security support, including HTTPS.
